Features

• The HYDAC charging and testing unit FPU help to charge accumulators with nitrogen
• They are also useful for checking or changing the existing pre-charge pressure in accumulators
• Therefore, for this purpose, we screw the charging and testing unit onto the gas valve of the hydraulic accumulator
• Then, we connect them via a hose to a commercial nitrogen bottle
• If the nitrogen pressure is only to be checked or reduced, there is no need to connect the charging hose
• Moreover, the unit has a screw-type fitting with a built-in gauge, check valve and a spindle for opening the accumulator gas valve to control the pressure
• What’s more, HYDAC piston and diaphragm accumulators can be charged and checked without the need for adapters
• Bladder accumulators, however, require an A3 adapter
